5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

5.1. On our website

Our marketing website, www.trackease.net, uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, for instance which pages visitors go to most often. We use this information to improve our website and to make it easier for visitors to find what they need. These services may place their own cookies on your device.

When you visit the website, a short notice tells you that it uses cookies. The notice closes after 5 seconds, or when you select OK. Your browser’s local storage then records that you have seen the notice, so it isn’t shown again.

5.2. In the TrackEase app

The TrackEase app, app.trackease.net, has no analytics.

5.3. Third-party providers

Google and Microsoft handle the information their services collect under their own privacy policies: the Google Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

5.4. Managing cookies

Most web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent, and you can delete cookies that are already stored. Check your browser’s help menu or settings for instructions. Disabling cookies altogether may affect how some websites work.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Documents you upload are encrypted at rest and in transit, and we check the service for security issues regularly.

7. Your rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • Access: Request copies of your personal data
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service
  • Objection: Object to processing of your personal data

8. Pricing and taxes

  • All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • For subscription services, we will charge your payment method on the recurring basis you select.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the top of this page and notify you of significant changes. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

10. Contact us
